The essay question is a long-standing part of AQA’s Biology A-level. This 25 mark question allows students to bring together ideas from throughout the course in a holistic way. This session is aimed at teachers who are new to AQA or who want to have a better understanding of how to prepare their students for the essay question. It will also be useful for teachers of KS4 sciences to help their students transition to A-level.
