Science lessons can be some of the most engaging experiences children have. They enjoy the practical nature of science, learning amazing facts about our world and the creatures that inhabit it. Children also enjoy learning the language of science. This session provides some examples of how children's learning of English and mathematics can be enhanced and assessed using science. All activities are 'tried and tested' in the primary classroom.
