Air quality, especially in urban areas, is a world-wide problem. Using an active, audience-involved format, this keynote shows how subject integration engages all levels.
  1. It makes the case for STEM subject integration rather than separate disciplines
  2. It provides valuable content outside that to be expected from traditionally educated teachers
  3. It explores issues of pedagogy that will educate not indoctrinate
  4. It will involve some short interactive interludes
  5. It makes the case for action as part of STEM Education, as part of learner engagement
  6. It moves from hypothetical contexts (nuclear powerstations in every town) to real community issues
