Year 7 & 8 Practical Experiment Showcase D16

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Would you like hints and tips for curriculum focused practical work and advice from specialists on how to perform a range of science activities? All disciplines covered! Plus how can virtual enhancement augment and reinforce practical work?
ASE, in partnership with BESA (British Educational Suppliers Association) will be delivering an inspiring workshop aimed at Year 7 and 8 teachers and their science technicians. That is FREE to attend.
Focusing on the all-important practical work in the classroom, the experiments, which have been chosen by our Science Education 11-19 Committee and Science Laboratory Technicians Committee, in association with our Health and Safety Specialist Group, will be aimed to inspire and delight the students, so to foster a love of science, whilst giving teachers the confidence to perform the experiments safely.
Expert lab technicians will be on hand to answer questions, to show the experiments and to let you try your hand at them, whilst the suppliers will be there to give advice regarding equipment and chemicals with maybe cheeky little discounts especially for you!
To support practical work in schools, ASE and BESA are funding teachers to attend this workshop free. Just register for 'Free Entry Exhibition Only' ticket when you book at www.ase.org.uk/annual-conference and you can attend this workshop PLUS tour the scientific resources on offer in the Exhibition Marquee.
So come along and see how we can help.
