If you are looking for good quality, FREE resources that will engage your pupils in science and STEM then come along to the Practical Action stand. Set within a real –life global context our popular STEM challenges and other materials fit the UK science curriculum (we have a doc to show you where) so can be used within lessons but are also great for off timetable days, STEM clubs, transition etc. Our materials also link to CREST awards and Eco-schools. All come with teachers notes, pupil worksheets, PowerPoint presentation and more so minimal planning needed. STEM challenges include Stop the Spread (of infectious disease), the Floating Garden Challenge, Beat the Flood and the popular Squashed tomato challenge.
