The Association for Science Education (ASE) is a professional body and global network of science educators. We are advocates for excellence in science education; support ongoing professional development and offer a welcoming and inclusive community of support for science educators both in the UK and abroad.

The Association for Science Education (ASE) is an active membership body that has been supporting all those involved in science education from pre-school to higher education for over 100 years; members include teachers, technicians, tutors and advisers. We are a Registered Charity with a Royal Charter, owned by our members and independent of government. We seek to create a powerful voice for science education professionals in order to make a positive and influential difference to the teaching and learning of science throughout the UK and further afield.

ASE has a wealth of constantly evolving projects, resources, events and new for autumn term 2023 , hugely reduced membership fees with something for everyone. Come along to our stand and meet ASE staff, committee members and volunteers throughout conference - we look forward to greeting you.
