Lecturer in Zoology
Bangor, Wales
I am a lecturer in zoology at the School of Biological Sciences, Bangor University. My research interests are in the fields of animal behaviour, ecology and conservation, with particular focus on animal cognition and the effects of human activities on wildlife. I have worked extensively in Southern and Eastern Africa studying elephant behaviour, while more recently I spent over two years in Colorado exploring the effects of anthropogenic noise on a range of animals, including prairie dogs.
