I have been part of the Science Education Industry for 17 years. I joined Timstar Laboratory Suppliers in 2007. Prior to working in this Industry I was a Microbiologist doing lots of interesting testing on water, waste and food samples. I have a real passion for Science which has led me to support Science staff and students by offering sessions on DNA fingerprinting using PCR and gel electrophoresis techniques. This helps in the understanding of how these techniques can be used for different diagnostic tests e.g crime scenes, paternity test and cancer gene detection.
