I am a member of the University of York Science Education Group where I teach and do research on science education, with a focus on philosophical, political and environmental aspects of secondary science education.  Currently co-leading the 2021 BERA Research Commission on Education for Environmental Sustainability.  Other active research projects include a review of evidence on primary science teaching and a curriculum development project on broadening the science curriculum post-16 (talk to me about climate engineering, fracking and biofuels).
