Tracey is an independent secondary science consultant.  Prior to this, Tracey taught science for 10 years before becoming a consultant in two local authorities.  She currently works closely with STEM Learning as a Triple Science Advisor and as Regional Development Lead, supporting Science Learning Partnerships in NW.

Tracey supports school improvement with a focus on science teaching and learning, curriculum development, leadership and assessment.  Much work currently focuses on how we can best support all students as we deliver a new curriculum and prepare for a new assessment system.

As an established author, Tracey has written secondary science textbooks and other materials for the UK and also further afield for destinations such as Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and China.  She has supported teachers in China and Morocco delivering science in English.  Most recently, she has authored materials linked with the AQA KS3 Curriculum for Collins and resources to support lower-attainers in accessing the KS4 curriculum.

In her spare time, Tracey is a member of the ASE NW Committee and is a Chair of Governors at a local primary school and Governor at a local secondary school.  When she isn’t working, Tracey enjoys time with her two lovely, lively boys.
